How to Wash Your Car at Home for Free

1. Vaseline

Car cleaners such as Armour All are great; however, they can be costly. Instead, you can wipe the vinyl surface using a mild cleaning agent and then apply a small amount of Vaseline over the entire surface. Clean any excess with the help of a clean cloth. The Vaseline will help condition your dash, leaving the finish looking gorgeous and shiny.

2. Screw Driver

Look at your gear shift. Are you able to see all the annoying tiny pieces and bits in there? Don't you hate those nagging particles and the tiny spaces? To remove them, put a screwdriver inside a damp microfiber cloth and remove them completely.

3. Coffee Filters

This one serves two purposes. You can use the coffee filter over your vehicle to collect dust and then use a second one to scrub the insects that have died off your bumper. It is also possible to utilize dryer sheets for a similar result.

4. Foam Craft Brushes

Where are the creative moms? Most likely, you've got some of the foam brushes stashed in your craft drawer. They are great for reaching that hard-to-reach dust that is hanging inside your ventilations.

5. Toothbrush

It's another tool that you can use to clean dirt and dust out of crevices. It is also a great tool to scrub the wrinkles out of the upholstery of your car.

6. Rubbing alcohol

Are your wipers doing a mediocre job? They may not be the best time to throw them away just now. Try using rubbing alcohol on microfiber cloths and then run it across each of the wipers.

7. Vinegar, club soda, along with blue dawn dishwashing soap

Does anyone else appreciate a chemical-free cleaning solution? Mix these ingredients together and use them in conjunction with the toothbrush mentioned earlier to get rid of the most stubborn stains that are on your flooring or seats..

8. The toothpaste and baking soda

Are your headlights looking cloudy? Do not need an expensive cleanser. Use baking soda or toothpaste onto an abrasive cloth that is damp and rub it onto the headlamps. You'll need to buff off the paste with a moist microfiber towel. Make sure you turn the cloth after each swipe to avoid reapplying the paste while you clean.

9. Furniture polish and paint brush

Apply a light spray of furniture polish onto the brush of a clean painter and then use it to wipe off the dust from radios as well as temperature control.

10. Paper towel roll

When you clean out your car, there's going to be some of those awkward spaces that no vacuum can reach. Make use of duct tape to secure an old towel roll at the top of the hose for your vacuum. Bend it until it fits in the door pockets. Say goodbye to the french fry that was 4 years old!

11. Rubber gloves

The hair of the animal magically rolls it up into an easy-take clump. Pet owners, give this one a test.

12. Your Dishwasher

After giving your mats a good bang against the wall of your house or tree, put the mats in the highest racks of the dishwasher, with the side you'd like to wash towards the source of water. This will function as a pressure washer. And the best part is that you can start with this as your first step, and it'll be cleaned before the time you've completed the rest of your vehicle.
