Prep Work

Take off the decal

You can remove decals from your car easily by making sure you have the right conditions. Any heat can soften the glue and make it easier to take off. This is why you will need to use an adhesive remover to stop it from happening. You can find products specifically designed to remove adhesive residue from these types of stickers like 3M Adhesive Remover and Goo Gone. Alternatively, you could use WD40 if you have a WD40 in your garage. A tried-and-true adhesive cleaner will give you the best results.

Although it's not an easy task to remove dealership decals, it can be done with a little effort. Follow these steps to remove your decal quickly.
